GENERAL DESCRIPTION

JD C9 catalyst is a clear tertiary amine liquid with a slight amine odor. The material will darken on standing with no effect on reactivity. JD C9 catalyst is miscible with water and is soluble in most polyols and organic solvents.

 

APPLICATIONS

JD C9 catalyst is recommended for evaluation in a broad range of rigid polyurethane foams. A major application is insulation foams, including spray, slabstock, board laminate and refrigeration formulations. The catalyst can be batched with the polyol or metered as a separate stream.

JD C9 catalyst is also recommended for elastomeric foams such as in shoe sole formulations.
